Treating the Masses: Hot Springs and a History of Public Bathing in America

Presented by Dr. Cane West, an academic historian and park ranger at Hot Springs National Park. Dr. West’s program will show how Hot Springs emerged as the leading public health resort in US. It features the history of the government free bathhouses, which operated for a three-quarters of a century.
