Greenwood Cemetery Tombstone Inscriptions 2005

Greenwood was organized as a cemetery company in 1882, when it began listing interments, but some of the earliest markers in Greenwood date to the 1870s. Gail Ashbrook copied and catalogued all existing tombstones and photographed some of the most distinctive stones. The book, with an alphabetical index, lists all of the markers existing as of 2005, section by section, with maps to help locate a particular cemetery plot.
